  • Teach course on Disaster Prevention through Geotechnics to classes averaging 20 graduate students.

  • Conducted damage surveys on Hokkaido region, Japan after the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake in September 2018, and on Kyushu region, Japan after the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquakes in May 2016.

  • Contribute to an international collaborative research, called “LEAP (Liquefaction Experiments and Analysis Projects)” for the validation of constitutive and numerical modeling techniques for soil liquefaction analysis, from 2015 to Present.
